I am so sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. I always looked forward to his dental appointments as I was fortunate to have been his dental hygienist for many years. He loved to talk about his granddaughters and his dogs. He always reminded me of my own father a true family man. He will truly be missed,

We always enjoyed visiting with Ron at Southern Michigan Gun Club & shooting with him as well. He always had a kind smile & loved to reminisce the old days at White Oaks & shooting with “the Bowkers”. We will truly miss seeing Ron & his beloved lab sitting on the porch…our deepest sympathies.

On behalf of the Southern Michigan Gun Club, we would all like to offer our condolences to Ron’s family. Ron was almost a permanent fixture at the outdoor range in Mattawan Mi. Our club members will always remember the quiet gentleman who had every right to brag about his superior marksmanship skills but never once did. Ron and his dog Max would always visit other ranges just to exchange pleasantry’s and share a bit of his dry humor and wit. Many people may not know this but the duo were so popular that we entered Max into an annual election for club president complete with political posters and all back in 2014. From all of us at the S.M.G.C. we hope that all of Ron’s family and friends have the faith and confidence to know that both Ron and Max are together again and in a far better.
The Members of the Southern Michigan Gun Club
