Sam was a great girl. She just had dark demons she couldn’t shake off. I thought of her as a daughter. I hurt so bad inside of her passing and very shocked. I Pray for the very best for Sam’s gorgeous daughter. We shared a lot of great memories. I will never forget you. Ride High. I will see you again.

  2. Michelle Lewis-Van Den Berg says:

You were my sister, my best friend. I loved you more then you could even know. You were my Ride or Die. But one thing I do know you are in a much better place. Now you no longer have those demons pushing every which way. Yes I would rather have you here all your friends and the people who love you
(but I know the day to day struggles you were dealing with). But I’m not selfish you were hurting everyday and you could never truly escape them. So this is me saying I will miss you soooooo much. But until we meet again I will do my best to watch over Maya and make sure she knows how much you LOVE her and what you were like because she is still little and won’t understand. RIP fly high

I was so close to saving her this one hurts so bad. My heart really goes out to her daughter Maya is motherless now for my own kids share that same tragedy. So Maya it was an honor to meet you the many times you came to my house I loved your smile and how you made your mother beam. Just know that although your mother struggled with her sickness that she loved and held you to her heart very dearly. I hope that is imprinted in your soul for life.

    Love Your Adopted

  4. Ron Lemke ( Lance) says:

Ive been dating Samantha on and off for the last year. Samantha was the most amazing woman i ever met. She fought her addiction everyday and sought help the last few weeks. She was in the waiting list for Harbor House, and had 6 days clean. She fought those 6 days like a champion and was detoxing from a poison that eventually won..she was in so much pain and frustration because she hated her addiction. I will never forgive myself for leaving her alone that Monday. Baby i love you and im so sorry for failing you. The angels in heaven just got a special one. I love you..

  5. Jessica Lapekas says:

I still am waiting for you to call me to tell me this was one cruel joke!
You wanted so badly to beat your demons and we had everything in place for you to start your new journey. Friday didn’t come soon enough.
You were one amazing friend! I could always count on you to be there for me whenever I needed you. I knew that my secrets were safe with you. You had such a beautiful soul but so broken and being beaten every single day that allot of people didn’t get to experience it. I know that you’re not fighting anymore and that gives me some comfort but I would do anything to hear your contagious laugh and see your one of a kind priceless smiles!
I hope that Maya will know just how much you loved her and will be able to remember times that you spent with her.
Rest Easy and Fly High Beautiful

  6. Michelle Van Den Berg says:

That’s so beautiful. I hope she gets told wonderful stories of how amazing her mom was. An how much she truly loved her and wanted this addiction to be gone so bad. She fought everyday and like you said only a handful of people seen how much she wanted to be better and be free of the demons that took her very life.
