There is a gaping hole in my heart that will never be filled. Russell Brown you mean the world to me. I will miss your booming voice, witty sense of humor, unconditional love (both given and received) but most of all I will miss hearing “I love you Baby Doll”. My world is off kilter but I am thankful for every ounce of energy you gave to the battle. I know I had you longer than I should have because of your courage, determination, and will to fight. Thank you for loving me. I am my father’s daughter! Sharp wit, short tempered, and even growly sometimes, but always willing to give in any way. I LOVE YOU

Heard lots of stories about Mackinaw. 🙂 Loved his snappy Blue eyes, his white Sanny Claus Beard, his Booming voice, not to mention his wit, charm, & clever and sometimes “colorful” vocabulary! Bittersweet to hold tight to the smile, laughter, and wise words Russ has shared. When we moved in next door, Russ took us in like family. He became a Dad always looking out for us and sharing stories. He was a Grandfather to our babies. He helped Kurt make a beautiful hutch for our “baby girl” and taught our son the best way to hold a hammer. There are so many, many special memories. When we moved hugs were shared and tears were shed. He will forever hold a deep spot in all of our hearts.
