Philip B. Pederson of Allegan, MI passed away, unexpectedly, October 7, 2023 at his home in Allegan. He was born September 8, 1962 in Detroit, the son of Burdette and Virginia (Adamski) Pederson. For 34 years Philip worked as a skilled tradesman for Metal Technologies. In his free time he enjoyed golfing and attending classic car shows and family horseshow events. Philip was very handy and liked staying busy doing projects. Most of all Philip loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
On February 14, 1993 in Columbia, TN, he married Susan Williams who survives. Also surviving are his children, Philip (Katie) Pederson of Plainwell, Andrea (David) Lamance of Delton, Cheyenne (Andre) Penny of Nashville and Rass (Becky) Pederson of Vicksburg; grandchildren, Andrew (Deviney) Lamance; Taylor (Tyler) Corwin; Joelle Lamance, Clayton Lamance, Brooklyn Pederson, Bryce Pederson, Ella Heimstra, Leah Heimstra, Eli Heimstra, James Penny and Jeremiah Penny; 5 great-grandchildren; father, Burdette; siblings, Karen (Don) Meyers, Paula (John) Gayda, Laurene (David) Rugg, Tim (Karen) Pederson, Steven (Missy) Pederson and Jeff (Cassie) Pederson along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia; grandson, Quinton Pederson; grandparents, Max and Freda Pederson and Tony and Sylvia Adamski and nephew Teague Pederson.
According to his wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held on November 1, 2023 at 1pm at the Hastings Elk’s Lodge, 102 Woodlawn Ave., Hastings. Burial of ashes will take place at Mt. Home Cemetery, Otsego on October 17, 2023 at 2pm. Contributions in memory of Philip may be made to his family.
