Wallace C. Henrickson

Wallace Conrad Henrickson entered into peaceful, eternal rest, August 25, 2023.

He was born on February 16, 1944, in Tacoma, Washington. He was the only son born to Sydney and Viola Henrickson. Wallace was raised in Otsego, Michigan, and graduated from Otsego High School in 1963. He lived his adult life in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where he resided until his passing.

Wallace married Louise Ann Wood in Kalamazoo in November of 1974. Together they raised their only daughter, Stacey. Wallace was fond of animals. He always helped feed a stray or take one in. His love of wildlife, especially ducks and BB guns would start as a young boy and continue through his adult life. Wallace was a loving son, husband and father.

He is survived by his eldest daughter from a previous marriage, Rhonda McClintock of Charleston, SC and his youngest daughter, Stacey (Jim) (Henrickson) Kempker. Wallace also leaves behind  7 grandchildren, Jamison McClintock, Felecia Franklin and U.S. Marine Samuel Franklin all of Charleston, South Carolina and Matthew Kempker, Luke Kempker, Simon Kempker and Meredith Kempker all of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Wallace will be greatly missed by his family.

According to his wishes cremation has taken place.
