Tyler J. Patrick

Tyler passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026, in Kalamazoo. 

He was born on October 11, 1994, in Kalamazoo, the son of Paul Patrick and Stephanie Sullivan. Tyler graduated from Plainwell Alternative Education in 2012. He worked in residential construction specializing in drywall. He loved being outdoors, riding dirt bikes and 4-wheelers and spending time in the pool. 

Surviving are his children; parents, Paul (Jayne) Patrick of Shelbyville and Stephanie (Kelly Peasley) Patrick; brothers, Austin Patrick and Dustin (Hayley) Patrick; cousin who was like a sister, Kaysi Sullivan; nephew, Jason; niece, Ella; grandfather, Paul Patrick Sr.; grandmother, Kim Sullivan along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bruce Sullivan and grandmother, Mary Hadley. 

Cremation has taken place. 

A celebration of Tyler’s life will be held at a later time.
