the son of Lee and Martha Melinda (

Worthington

) Campbell. He worked for Plainwell Paper then retired from General Motors in 1994. Tom enjoyed golfing, fishing, feeding the birds and squirrels, watching baseball, game shows and old movies, playing guitar and bass with his friends and in a band. He loved being with his grandchildren. On December 17, 1955 in Otsego he married Shirley Stoughton who survives. Also surviving are his children, Dan Campbell of Plainwell, Mike (Beth) Campbell of Plainwell and Connie Thomson of Otsego; 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 4 sisters and 4 brothers Laurene, Julia, Jim, Susie, Bill, George, Jean and Howard; 3 step-sisters, Ila, Mary and Helen; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 1 sister and 3 brothers, Joe, Dorothy, Frank and John and in 2005 a grandson, Mitch Niemi. Friends may meet with his family from 2-4 and

6-8 P.M.

Tuesday at

Winkel Funeral Home,

where services will be held Wednesday at

1 PM

, Pastor Tim Secord officiating. Interment will follow at

Mountain
