Steven H. Norton

Steven H. Norton passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Ely Manor in Allegan.

He was born August 27, 1952, in Plainwell, the son of Howard and Gladys (Doty) Norton. He attended Allegan County Development Center and worked as a dishwasher at Hinkle’s bakery until 2005. 

Steven had a wonderful sense of humor and loved doing impressions. He liked going on short trips with his dad especially when they stopped for a cheeseburger. Steven also enjoyed painting ceramics, doing puzzles and decorating for the holidays. 

Surviving are his sister, Janet Norton, nieces, Marie Eagle, Barbie Seekman, Sarah Isbrecht and Laurie Lykken; special cousins Tom and Martha Thornton along with many members of his large extended family and stepfamily including Gwen (Holden) Norton. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister, Judy. 

Friends may visit with Steven’s family starting at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at the Winkel Funeral Home in Otsego, until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Greg Carlson officiating. 

Burial will follow at Mountain Home Cemetery.
