Ronald L. Esterline was born on August 20, 1941, in Kalamazoo to Lloyd and Helen (Goodacre) Esterline. He passed away on June 20, 2025, at Allegan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Ron was a skilled machinist whose work ethic and dedication were evident throughout his many years at Parker Hannifin, where he made significant contributions until his retirement.

A lifetime member of the Otsego Moose Lodge, Ron played a pivotal role in helping to build the lodge and served as its past President. His dedication to youth and community also shone through in his role as an Otsego Rocket Football Coach for over a decade, where he inspired many young athletes. In addition to coaching, Ron enjoyed making connections through sports, playing on a softball team with friends and family known as the "Esterline Drivers."

Ron had a profound love of music, often sharing this passion with his family. He played the guitar and fostered a joyful musical environment at home. Among his many cherished traditions, celebrating the 4th of July held a special place in his heart. He also had a deep love of history, particularly the Civil War, and enjoyed watching programs on the History Channel.

On July 1, 1983, at the First Congregational Church of Otsego he married Beverly Stephenson who survives. Also surviving are his sons, Todd (Marie) Esterline of Indiana and Toby (Carole) Esterline of Plainwell; stepchildren Kathy Hastings of Delton, Kevin (Lou Ann) Stephenson of Ionia, and Kraig (Denise) Stephenson of Dorr; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Lloyd Esterline Jr.; stepson, Kerry Stephenson and granddaughter, Melissa Luker. His memory will forever resonate in the hearts of his family and friends, a testament to a life well-lived and a spirit that will continue to shine brightly.

According to his wishes cremation has taken place.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at the Otsego Moose Lodge with Pastor Susan Artis officiating. A time of fellowship will follow.
