Romilda
Romilda M. Lacoss
Romilda passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.
She was born February 24, 1929 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Floyd and Cora (Buckalew) Emmons. Romilda enjoyed knitting, crochething, growing orchids and playing golf. She loved shopping, her pets and most of all her family. Romilda was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was active in the Otsego VFW with her husband.
On April 15, 1948 in Otsego she married Clifford LaCoss Jr. who passed away in 1995.
Surviving are her children, Romilda (Elton “Jay”) Goswick and Al (Betty) LaCoss both of Otsego; 5 grandchildren, Jacqueline (Mark) Southby, Jannette (Richard) Goswick, Annette (Jon) Bohl, Christopher (Melissa) LaCoss and Heather Chickering along with 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
According to her wishes cremation has taken place.
Burial of ashes will take place at Mountain Home Cemetery in Otsego Township at a later time.
Contributions in memory of Romilda may be made to the
American Cancer Society.

I am blessed to get to know Romilda. I live across the hall at “The Home”. She was very charming and we had some nice talks. She will be missed. Romilda and her family are in my prayers.
