Robert L. Fuller passed away on August 30, 2025, at Kauhale in Otsego. Born on April 13, 1935, in Otsego, he was the cherished son of Charles and Beatrice (Beldon) Fuller.
Bob led a remarkable life marked by a strong sense of duty and passion. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Era, stationed in Germany, where he exemplified the values of integrity and commitment. Following his military service, Bob pursued various career paths that reflected his work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit. He owned and operated Rog & Bob's Marathon, transitioned into real estate with Cornell Associates, and ultimately became a licensed insurance agent, opening the Bob Fuller Agency, where he worked with his wife Barb.
On November 22, 1968, Bob married the love of his life, Barbara Burchett, at the Otsego Church of God. Their bond remained strong until Barbara's passing in 2024. Together, they shared countless memories and nurtured a loving family.
Bob is survived by his two children, Garrett Fuller and Dana (Andrew) Switzer, and was a proud grandfather to Michael, Jonathan, and Audrey. His family meant the world to him, and he enjoyed every moment spent in their company.
In addition to his family commitments, Bob was known for his vibrant personality. He was very social and enjoyed having coffee with friends, shooting pool, playing poker and cards and watching television. He was a long-time fan of the Detroit Lions and Tigers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and siblings, Betty Bonnell and William “Bill” Fuller.
According to his wishes cremation has taken place.
A celebration of Bob's life will be held from 12-3 PM, Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the Otsego VFW Post #3030.
Burial of ashes will take place at Mountain Home Cemetery in Otsego.
