Robert E.L. Crim Iii

Robert passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at his daughter’s home in Allegan, with his family by his side.

He was born May 13, 1954 in Allegan, the son of Robert Jr. and Esther (Sandahl) Crim. Robert proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. For many years he was a salesman for the Detroit Free Press and also enjoyed selling meats.

In his free time Robert loved gardening and spending time with his family. He was a life member of the Allegan American Legion and Allegan Masons.

Surviving are his children, Carol (Fred) Rawson of Allegan and Charles (Danette Abraham) Crim of Allegan; 3 grandchildren, Brandon, Madison and Samantha; siblings, Sue (Bob) Jenkins, Mark (Louise) Crim, Mary (Tom) Soule; several nieces, nephews and extended family members and his lifelong friend, Steve Clark.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Rob.

According to his wishes cremation has taken place. Friends and family are invited to gather on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at the Watson Township Hall from 1-4pm to celebrate Robert’s life.

Contributions in memory of Robert may be made to the Allegan American Legion.
