I remember working with Rich and he was always a joy. I don’t recall him not smiling and saying word to make others feel well. I am certain he will be missed, but it so good to know he has reach his final goal the reward he so deserves because he accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior. May those who. knew him be comforted by this truth.

Richard was a ray of sunshine and my dear friend when I worked at Big Top market. He used to bring me drawings he made. I will miss him dearly and cherish our talks.

I am so sorry to hear of Richard’s passing. I wish I would have known he was at Lifecare! I would have visited him! My kids grew up visiting with Richard as he would walk by our house on Gilkey Street all the time. He was such a gentle soul. I remember him leaving hand made cards in our mailbox and the kids loved them. Whenever I would see him at Big Top he always asked me about my boys. He was such a loving human being. He will be missed.

Richard was an amazing Man and called us on our home phone to talk quite often. He had a special place in his heart for our Daughter Sarah because she was born with a cleft like him and he would tell her all the time to make sure she had the surgery’s the Drs wanted her to have because he wasn’t able to like she was. Loved spending time with him at church and would go visit him with my Oldest Son Jamie that he loved talking to. He was simply the kindest Man ever!

Richard was the most caring and sweetest man I’ve ever met. He cared so much about how others felt. If you were not feeling well he would give you a hug. I always welcomed his hugs because they would always make me feel good. So much to remember of how sweet he was. It saddens me he has left us. I know he is in a better place though. He will forever be in my heart.

I met Richard at Camp Sunshine where he was one popular camper. One year Richard and I were paired as camper/counselor. What a blast we had! We even got married on stage at the talent show. His sweet disposition and love of life were sure signs that he was one of God’s special children….and a special gift to all who knew him

I am honored to have known Richard the past 10 years. He was such a sweet, happy and loving person. He greeted everyone with a smile. He was so weak the last time we visited him. However, he is in a much better place with his Lord.

Richard holds a special place in our hearts. He was always ready with a hug. Our boys bowled at Plainwell on Saturday morning and Richard was there with a smile and a hug for each. He knew every bowler by name.

He was a blessing.

Richard my friend, are times we spent together were so full of laughs and hugs and babbling. You my friend had the most positive attitude and your love for Jesus was amazing. I know you are in Gods kingdom now. I am truly sadden that I left messages and wondered why I had not heard from you. I did not even get to say good bye. You taught me a lot about spirit in life and you will always be in my heart. I will miss you picking on me mostly. My grand baby’s will miss you as well. God Bless your soul. I have a feeling you will be God’s right hand man.
