To Dick’s family, we are so sorry for your loss. We always had such a good time with Dick & Diane when we lived in Mattawan. He gave me the opportunity to become one of his officers and I will always be in honor for that. He was truly good at police work and taught me so much. Rest in Peace my great friend, you will be missed. Jim & Bonnie Hoffman.

I was a fellow officer of Dick’s with the MDOC. Very sorry to

by both co-workers and inmates. A smart, likeable guy who also

Thank you for the condolences. It is a difficult time for the family, but with all this support and prayers it helps us stay strong.

Dad had suffered after the stroke getting his left side to work and as you know him. That was not exceptable.

He decided after his short stay in Bronson this December enough was enough. He was very a peace with his decision and went to the Lord with no pain. Watching him cross over with my sister and Aunt Pat was something I will never forget.

Hugs to all of you!
