Pearl I. Oisten

Pearl passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.

She was born February 8, 1934 in Allegan, the daughter of Charles “Speed” and Marie (Ostrander) Davis. Pearl enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting, making blankets for her family and riding motorcycles on the trails. On November 24, 1952 in Goshen, Indiana, she married John Oisten who survives.

Also surviving are her children, Judy (Ron) Oisten of Vicksburg, Susan Oisten of Plainwell and John (Kay) Oisten of Allegan; grandchildren, Christina, Kathy, Sarah, Ron, Heather, Billy, Tasha, Peggy, Carolyn and Travis; 22 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; children, Viola and Katherine and by her sister, Louise.

Friends may visit with Pearl’s family starting at 10 AM, Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego, until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 A.M, with Pastor Tom Harrison officiating.

Burial will take place at 2:00 P.M., at Hicks Cemetery in Watson Township.
