Mikaila passed away Monday, June 8, 2026, at her home in Otsego.
She was born on October 6, 2001, in Plainwell, the daughter of Matthew Cottrill and Jennifer Adams. Mikaila was a student at Hillside West Learning Center. She loved music and spending time with her grandpa.
Surviving are her parents, Matthew (Holly VanVolkinburg) Cottrill and Jennifer (Joe) Pinks of Tennessee; brother, Camden Cottrill and his mother Diane Kleeves; sister, McKenzie Rabidoux; grandpa, Douglas Cottrill; aunt, Missy Cottrill; uncles, Nate Cottrill and Scott Adams and cousins, Gabe and Grace Cottrill.
She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Melinda Cottrill and Kathy Adams.
According to her wishes cremation has taken place.
Contributions in memory of Mikaila may be directed to Hillside West Learning Center.
