Michelle Marshall

Michelle Marshall of Portage passed away October 17, 2021 at her home in Portage. Michelle was born March 17, 1947 in Battle Creek the daughter of Norman and Maxine (LaBelle) Shaughnessy. Michelle loved the sun and going to the beach, especially Lake Michigan, and going on cruises.

On August 4, 1967 she married John Marshall who preceded her in death in 2014.

Surviving are her sons, John (Wendy) Marshall of Portage and Toby (Kelli) Marshall of Paw Paw; 4 grandchildren, Kayla, Lia, Chloe and Sydney; her brothers Norman Shaughnessy and Mark Shaugnessy and several nephews. She was preceded by her parents and husband.

Cremation has taken place. A Private family Memorial will take place at a later time.

I was shocked to learn of Micki’s passing. We shared many good times

together with our lunches out and shopping. She had a wonderful

sense of humor and we laughed a lot. I will miss her.

Michelle will always be remembered by me. I know her from years ago when I was young and worked with her at school. Heaven got an angel.

Mikki was one of my most favorite people. Fun followed her everywhere. She was a ray of sunshine with a bubbly laugh.

I am truely saddened to learn she’s passed.
