Jessica and all of Mikes loved ones

We’re so sad to hear this. We knew Mike from work and from your friendship with our daughter. He was a really good guy.

We loved how protective he was of you kids when you had an overnight get together, a dad that really loved and cared.

All of you are in are thoughts and prayers.

My most sincere condolences to Mikes family and friends. Mike and my brother Jeff were close friends in High School. He was like another brother to me. I was blessed to know him. Mike & Jeff always worked on my car together so that I could stay safe. He was one of the best. Till we meet again.

We have so many fond and fun memories of growing up with the Goudy family as it was a time when everyone knew everyone and our families were friends. It has always broke our hearts when we lost another precious Goudy family member and today is no different! Even tho it has been years since we have saw or heard from the family this news of sweet Mike’s passing breaks our hearts once again! We will be holding all of you in our prayers during this difficult time and know we also feel very blessed to have grown up with this family. I’m sure Mike is celebrating in heaven with his family and friends who have gone before him. All our love

I grew up on Morrell Street, next door to the Goudy family. They were more than neighbors to us, they were family. My dad, Skip, worked with Sam for the City of Otsego for many years. It is very sad to see another member of that wonderful family be taken too early in life. Many fond memories of growing up with Mike. He graduated with my late brother, Roger, and they were always good friends. When Roger was diagnosed with terminal cancer, Mike was one of his most loyal visitors, and Roger appreciated the hell out of that. He was a genuine nice guy and he had that very easy laugh. When we were kids, I don’t recall Mike ever getting mad or fighting with anyone, except some of his epic battles with his sister, Vicki, who usually got the best of him. We were laughing about that last time I seen him. I am sure he is up there in Heaven with his folks, sister Sue, and Roger, either drinking a beer or a Mountain Dew and smiling down on all those who love him. Rest In Peace, Mike.
