Mary M. Tank

Mary passed away Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo. 

She was born August 31, 1969, in Plainwell, the daughter of Earl and Carol (Williams) Strope. Mary graduated from Plainwell High School in 1987. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Mary liked relaxing in the sun, collecting gnomes, following U of M football and always had B93.7 playing her favorite country music. 

Surviving are her children, Sal Gomez of California, Sierra Tank of Plainwell and Shane Tank of Otsego; 2 grandchildren, Mayla and Frankie with another due soon; her siblings, Jim Ebrite, Julie House, Earl Strope and Gordon Strope along with several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Joe Ebrite.

 According to her wishes cremation has taken place.

Friends may visit with Mary’s family from 1-3PM, Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the Winkel Funeral Home in Otsego. Those attending may honor Mary by wearing her favorite color blue.
