Marilyn A. Norton

Marilyn passed away, Monday, May 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, at Life Care Center in Plainwell. 

She was born November 18, 1935, in Chicago, the daughter of Alex and Alice (Corbel) Kuklinski. Marilyn enjoyed camping, shopping for jewelry, going out to eat and spending time with her friends and family. On January 29, 1972, in Kalamazoo, she married Nelson Norton who passed away in 2013. 

Surviving are her children, Daniel (Lynn) Filtenborg of Shelbyville and Lisa Wheat of Three Rivers, 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Dan Filtenborg and Nelson Norton and sister, Adeline Money. 

According to her wishes cremation has taken place. 

Private family burial of ashes will be held at Mountain Home Cemetery at a later time. 

Contributions in memory of Marilyn may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
