Marilyn J. Majewski

Marilyn passed away, Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo. 

She was born March 14, 1936, in Traverse City, the daughter of Manley and Margaret (Perkett) Tuller. Marilyn loved taking care of her home and family and after her children were grown, she went to work at Friendship Village as a housekeeper. She was a skilled artist and enjoyed painting and making crafts for church bazaars.

On May 4, 1957, in Traverse City, she married Richard Majewski who passed away in 2018. Surviving are her children, Therese (Bill) Holdeman of Plainwell, John (Susan) Majewski of Baldwin, Cathy Dobbs of Kalamazoo, Stephen Majewski of Kalamazoo, Matthew (Tanisha) Majewski of Otsego, Elizabeth (Rick) Cornell of Arizona and Janet (Kenneth) Lake of Florida; 8 grandchildren, Andrew, Nathan, Matt Jr., Ryan, Ally, Collin, Connor and Alysa; 1 great-grandchild, Noah along with several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; children, Tammy Johnston and Christopher Majewski and siblings, Fr. John Tuller, Margie Dubay and Mary Jane Chapman.

Friends may visit with Marilyn’s family from 1-3:30 PM, Sunday, February 25, 2024, at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego, with a rosary service at 3:30 PM. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, February 26, 2024, at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Otsego, with Rev. Fr. Simon Manjooran officiating.

 Burial will follow at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta.

 Contributions in memory of Marilyn may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Ministry.
