To the family & friends of Peg,

I will always remember Peg saying to me, “Hi Princess.” I was her first princess when she was the coordinator of the Miss Martin pageant. Even as we both got older she would say that to me when I would see her and it always brought a smile to my face. When I was in high school they had a pageant reunion. I was proud to be a part of it to honor Peg and her hardwork throughout the years running it.

She was always involved with stuff around town and helped with so many things. Her wonderful smile will be missed.

Hugs to all her knew her, she was a special lady.

I’m so sorry for your loss.

Peggy was such a beautiful, sweet lady.

I’m so thankful I got the chance to know her and be a part of her life, even for just a short time.

Miss Peg lit up a room with her smile, and spending time with her was always one of my favorite parts of coming in to work last summer.

She will be so very missed.

Pegs family, your Mom was so very loved by so many! All our TOPPS family and our Red Hat group loved and appreciated all she did for us! We always had so much fun together! Peg, Mary Hines, Rose Olsgesbee and I used to go yard sailing and look for crafts! Memories will stay alive when we are all gone! My sympathies are with you girls! You had one of the best Moms to remember!

We Remember Them

At the rising sun and at its going down; We Remember Them.

At the blowing of the wind and in the chill of winter; We Remember Them.

At the opening of the buds and in the rebirth of spring; We Remember Them.

At the blueness of the skies and in the warmth of summer; We Remember Them.

At the rustling of the leaves and in the beauty of the Autumn; We Remember Them.

At the beginning of the year and when it ends; We Remember Them.

As long as we live, they too will live, for they are now a part of us as We remember them.

When we are weary and in need of strength; We Remember Them.

When we are lost and sick at heart; We Remember Them.

When we have decisions that are difficult to make; We Remember Them.

When we have joy we crave to share; We remember them.

When we have achievements that are based on theirs; We Remember Them.

For as long as we live, they too will live, for they are now a part of us as We Remember Them.

I just read about Peg’s passing. I’m so sorry for your loss. She always was so friendly and caring. It was a shock when she lost her husband – a cousin of mine. I will pray for her soul and for all those left to morne.

Sending prayers to Peg’s whole family. She was always so upbeat. Our paths crossed many times over the years. She would come in the Variety Store and visit. We also attended Tops together for many years. Such a beautiful lady.
