Mae E. Miller

Mae Eloise Miller passed away on September 14, at Beacon Hospital, in Kalamazoo, with family by her side. Mae was born July 21, 1944, to parents, Floyd and Viola (Bolen) Tyria in Cumberland, MS.

Mae worked for many years locally as a massage therapist, both with Otsego Family Medicine, and later out of her home. In her free time, Mae enjoyed fishing, sewing, and travelling.

She could often be found in her flower garden or out riding her bike. Mae also really loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Mae is survived by her daughter, Bridgett (VanDerhoff) (Jim) Bashaw, of Traverse City,

son, Robert (Carey) VanDerhoff, of Martin and grandchildren, Tyler (Khyliegh) VanDerhoff, Jacklon Flamand, and Anna Tubbs.

Mae was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service for the family will be held at a later date.
