She was born on January 14, 1933, in Plainwell, the daughter of Floyd and Evelyn (Bennett) Duffney. Louise worked at Rock Tenn Paper in sales until her retirement in 1986. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, quilting, golfing, playing cards and going out to eat.

She loved telling stories of the past and loved to travel, especially to New York where she visited the Twin Towers and World Trade Center and enjoyed having cocktails at the top.

She made several trips with her family to Watersmeet, fishing and eating bluegill. Hawaii was also a favorite place to visit, a highlight was meeting an actor from Hawaii Five-O. On July 11, 1959, in Otsego, she married Lloyd Clawson who survives.

Also surviving are several cousins, nieces and nephews. Louise was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Don Duffney.
