Lloyd A. Cronkhite of Kalamazoo, Michigan, died

, at his home. Mr. Cronkhite was born
April 8, 1919
in
Kalamazoo
, the son of Arthur and Libbie (Roberts) Cronkhite. Lloyd loved his family and enjoyed horses, nature and the country life. He was very active and a member of community and was on the Alamo Fire Department for many years. Lloyd was an artificial inseminator of cows for the Michigan Animal Breeders Association. Lloyd was a dairy farmer his entire life, he also shod horses and loved working with them. On
December 12, 1945
in Plainwell, he married Marcia Confer, who survives. Also surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Bernard and Gail Cronkhite; a granddaughter, Michelle Colyer; a great-grandson, Matthew Colyer; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may meet with his family Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 P. M. at the
Winkel Funeral Home,
Otsego,
where services will be held Saturday at
2:00
P. M., with his nephew, Rev. Robert Confer, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in
West
Cooper
Cemetery
. Memorial contributions may be made to the Borgess Foundation/Borgess VNA and Hospice.
