Kenneth E. Adrianson passed away unexpectedly at his home in Shelbyville on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, the day after his 65 birthday. He was born in Plainwell to George and Kathleen (Bowen) Adrianson in 1960. He graduated from Martin High School in 1979 and completed mechanics training in operating heavy equipment, which laid the foundation for a diverse and fulfilling career.
Throughout his life, Ken was a dedicated worker who contributed his talents to various companies including S.D. Hicks Hay Company, Leep Farms, and NARCO. He also drove a school bus for Martin and Wayland Public Schools, where he took pride in ensuring the safety and well-being of countless children. Later in his career, he drove semi for Behnke, demonstrating his versatility and commitment to his work.
Ken was a jack of all trades and could fix anything. When not tinkering around fixing something he could be found enjoying one of his favorite TV shows, notably Blue Bloods, Motor Trend and NCIS. Most of all Ken loved spending time with his family.
On November 15, 1982, he married the love of his life, Janice Charles Adrianson, in Allegan. Together, they built a beautiful family, raising two daughters, Joanie (Mark) Heath of Allegan and Heather (Jay Ritchie) Adrianson of Otsego. Ken found immense joy in being a grandfather to Blake and Anna Heath, Arial, Jesse and Jason Fox, Willow Adrianson and C.J. Sweet and great-granddaughter, Alison Price.
Ken is survived by his beloved wife, Janice, their daughters, and grandchildren, as well as his siblings Calvin (Mae) Adrianson and Peggy (Rod) Bourdo; mother-in-law, Clova Charles, brother-in-law, Bob (Cappy) Fields and several nieces and nephews.
