John has always had a special place in my heart, and that will never change. I’ve thought of him often. I’m happy he was able to find happiness in his life, but sad I was never able to keep in touch with him over the past 25+ years. I’ll continue to remember so many good times I’ve held close to my heart throughout the years. I’m so very sad to hear of his passing, my heart aches for your family. I pray for peace for all who miss him.

Oh my goodness. I was just talking about you today. I found a journal Johnny wrote back in 1988. It was all about you. That boy loved you so much. And he says it over and over in his journal.

John was really mellow and easy to get along with. I really liked him, though we hadn’t been in contact for a long time. I’m really sad to hear about him passing so young. My thoughts are with his family.
