James A. Smalla
Plainwell
Jim passed away Friday, October 4, 2024, at his home in Plainwell.
He was born on May 4, 1957, in Allegan, the son of Jack and Alice (Petroshus) Smalla. He was a 1975 graduate of Allegan High School. Jim worked in the automotive field for many years. In his leisure time he enjoyed trap shooting and riding motorcycles. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving are his brothers Steven (Ronella) Smalla, Tom Smalla, Jeff Smalla and Doug (Kim) Smalla and many nieces and nephews.
According to his wishes cremation has taken place.
Friends may visit with Jim’s family from 2-4 PM, Sunday, October 13, 2024, at the Otsego VFW Post 3030.
