James A. Sabin Ii

James passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023 in Plainwell.

He was born January 4, 1978 in Kalamazoo, the son of James Sabin and Rose Bialk. James liked helping people. He owned and operated a handyman service in the area. In his free time he enjoyed drawing, spending time with his friends, playing pool, playing cards and collecting Mickey Mouse items.

Surviving are his children, James Johnson of Gobles and Jaylene Tarkkanen of Gobles; siblings, Chrystal (Scott) Fris of Bellevue, William Vandervort of Parchment, Shannon Sabin of OR, Sarah (Adam Kloth) Sabin of IN and Tammy Sabin of Kalamazoo along with several nieces and nephews and the Corbin family who were his second family.

He was preceded in death by his mother Rose Vandyk, his wife, Rosalie (Moorelag) Sabin and sister, Melissa Thibert.

According to his wishes cremation has taken place.

A memorial service will be held at a later time.

Words cannot describe how much I appreciated James. He was always a text or a phone call away if I needed him. To the people who mattered the most to him, you know who you are, I’ll be thinking of you and pray for you all. May God bless you all.

James I am so saddened at your loss. We only had a brief weekend with all the family a few years ago but I truly enjoyed your company and the rest of my family. You are already missed buddy and will never be forgotten. There are many wonderful folks in heaven waiting to see you again.
