Irene L. Ziegler
Irene passed away, Sunday, December 26, 2021 at Plainwell Pines.
She was born March 19, 1943 in Hastings, the daughter of Carl and Doris (Boyer) Willcutt. Irene worked at the Super 8 Hotel in Kalamazoo and with the elderly in Shelbyville for many years. She enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts, coloring and listening to country music. She was a member of the Delton VFW Post #422. On October 10, 1964 she married Gerald “Jerry” Ziegler who passed away in 2009.
Surviving are her daughter, Connie (Mark) Bellgraph; 4 grandchildren, Kim (Kyle) Bowe, Chelsea (Jon) Curtiss, Nick Bellgraph and Rachel Bellgraph. 5 great-grandchildren, Hailey, Hayden, Emily, Adam, Ariel and Henry due soon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings, Charlie, Stanley and JoAn.
Friends may visit with Irene’s family from 6-8 PM, Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Derda officiating.
Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Contributions in memory of Irene may be made to
Centrica Care Navigators
or Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Watson Township.
