Frank passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Beacon Hospital in Kalamazoo. 

He was born on January 17, 1949, in Mount Clemens, the son of Anthony and Doris (Winkler) Scarsella. Frank started his career at Western Michigan University and Kalamazoo Container and went on to work at Menasha for 31 years until they closed in 2005. He then finished his bachelor's degree at Davenport University and worked at L.J. Fluid Power in Delton. 

Frank was an avid motorcyclist. He loved music and had an impressive CD collection. He enjoyed attending car shows and estate sales. He was knowledgeable in current and world events and enjoyed teaching others. He was a Deacon and treasurer at Old Gospel Church in Delton. On Valentine’s Day in 1993 in Plainwell, he married Maria Quarry who survives. 

Also surviving are his children, Michelle (Michael) McGroarty, Bernard (Pamela Lucky) Scarsella, Maria (Jeff) Cross, Anthony Scarsella, Annie (Rodolfo) Camey, Christan Scarsella. Angela (Armando) Ortiz and their mother, Patricia Scarsella; stepdaughter, Christine (Michael) Hunt; many grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, Cindy (Greg) Boedecker, John (Mary) Scarsella, Rick (Sue) Scarsella, Carol (John Chassar) Scarsella, Sue (Dale) Francek, Jim (Flavia) Scarsella, Jackie (Chris) Bianche and Jenny (Michael) Rollinger; along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his children, Patrick and Sarah Scarsella, stepson, Stephen Evans Jr. and his parents. 

According to this wishes cremation has taken place.

 A celebration of Frank’s life will be held in the spring.
