Donna C. Slack

Donna passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 at the Wings Home in Allegan.

She was born June 13, 1927 in Plainwell the daughter of Wesley and Julia (Hotchkiss) Stratton. For more than 10 years Donna had worked at Kal-quip. In her spare time she enjoyed ceramics, trips to the casino, playing bingo and watching soap operas.

In 1946 she married Arthur Slack who passed away in 2000.

Surviving are her daughters, Dixie Lounsberry of Gobles and JoAnn (Fred) Copen of Plainwell; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren and her brother, Robert Stratton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, David Slack; grandson, James Copen; great-grandsons Clayton Jr. and Casey Richardson along with 11 siblings.

According to her wishes cremation has taken place.

Burial of ashes will take place at 10:00 A.M., Monday, October 8, 2018 at Hillside Cemetery in Plainwell.

I’m so sorry to hear of Donna’s passing, I grew up next to her on 13th St. I remember her love for Betty boop and her amazing peanut butter fudge! May the Lord comfort you at this time!
