Donald Gibson

Don passed away, Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at his home in Allegan. 

He was born September 22, 1947, in Bell County, Kentucky, the son of Belvin and Vesta (Collins) Gibson. Don proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He started working in the paper industry in 1973 and moved to the area in 1989. He worked for many years as a supervisor at Graphic Packaging in Battle Creek until his retirement in 2009. Don enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, and fishing. On January 27, 1973, in Rittman, Ohio, he married Patricia Robinson who survives. 

Also surviving are his son, Donald Jason (Jessica) Gibson, sister, Francis Miller, and brothers, Wayne Gibson and Burrell Gibson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Chester Gibson and Moss Gibson. 

According to his wishes cremation has taken place.
