Colleen "June" J. Fullerton

June Fullerton passed away peacefully at her home, at the age of 98, on April 6, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones. The daughter of Ray and Kizzie (Walker) Tharp, June was born on June 21, 1927, in Washington, Indiana.

In 1946, she married her husband, Gene, who passed away in 2009. Together they raised two daughters.

June spent most of her time caring for others as a homemaker. Her nurturing nature could also be felt outside, in her garden, where she loved to grow tomato plants. June loved creating art, painting and crocheting. She also enjoyed making ceramics and hand painting china.

June is survived by her children Linda (Wayne) Wood and Brenda Carroll, niece Gloria Giammanco, nephews James McIlwain and Mark Tolliver, 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.

June was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister, son-in-law, and nephew.

Friends may visit with the family starting at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, April 10, 2026, until the time of the service starting at 3:00 P.M. at Winkel Funeral Home in Otsego, with Pastor Julia Humenik officiating. Burial will follow at Hudson Corners Cemetery in Allegan.
