Catherine
Catherine L. Mccormick
Cathy passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2020, surrounded by her family at her home in Allegan.
She was born November 18, 1955 in Romulus, Michigan, the daughter of Joseph and Jean (Gauvreau) Wojciechowski. Cathy enjoyed quilting and helped run the family sawmill. She was a member of the Trowbridge Community Church and had done service work for the Democratic Party.
On March 18, 1995 she married Kenneth McCormick who survives.
Also surviving are her children, Dale Bemis of Gobles, Rich Bemis of Gobles and Mark (Kim) Bemis of Bloomingdale; 17 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; siblings, Diane (Larry) Brown, David (Denise) Wojciechowski and Nancy (Nickie) Cosgrove; sisters-in-law, Ruth Wicklund, Mary Haywood, Betsy (Joe) Tutchton and Linda McCormick along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may visit with Cathy’s family from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM, Friday, March 13, 2020 at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego, where a funeral service will take place at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, March 14, 2020 with Pastor Greg Carlson officiating.
Cremation will follow.

Cathy will be dearly missed @ Trowbridge Community church. We all loved her. We know she is now in a better place with no pain or suffering. Prayers, love and hugs go out to Mick and the whole family. There will be an empty place at our table during refreshments each Sunday, yet knowing Cathy will be watching us !.. She always had an pleasant outlook on things, no matter how she felt. She was happy to served many times as cashier at our garage sales. She will truly be missed by everyone.

We are so sorry to learn about Kathy’s death. We were in Florida. Prayers for all her family . She was a fantastic lady. We will miss her at the Community Lunch.
