Carrie K. Green

Carrie K. Green passed away on February 8, 2026, at Beacon Hospital in Kalamazoo. 

Born April 28, 1963, she was the cherished daughter of Howard Jr. and Carolyn (Hall) Boss. Carrie lived a life filled with love, kindness, and compassion. Carrie graduated from Otsego High School in 1981. She worked at Kmart in Plainwell in human resources until they closed and most recently as an administrative secretary at Brave Industrial Fastener. 

Carrie was a woman of deep faith, with a strong love for Jesus that was a central pillar in her life. She not only embraced her faith but also shared it with others. Carrie's home was a sanctuary; she never turned anyone away. Time spent with her family was the most important aspect of her life and she delighted in cooking big meals that brought her loved ones together. On May 11, 1985, she married Randall Green who passed away in 2018.

She is survived by her children, Michael (Heather) Green and Ashley Green; her grandchildren, Noah, Ethan, Brianna, and Samuel; her siblings, Mike (Connie) Boss, Shawn (Joyce Jones) Boss, Julie (Timothy) Sheffer, and Terry (Sonni) Boss along with many nieces and nephews who lovingly called her Aunt Boo. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, DeAnn Sue Boss. 

Friends may visit with Carrie’s family from 4-7 P.M., Thursday, February 12, 2026, at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego where a funeral service will take place at 11:00 A.M., Friday, February 13, 2026, with Pastor Steve Wooten officiating. 

Burial will follow at Mountain Home Cemetery.
