Bradley Norris McFanin passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Beacon Health in Kalamazoo. Brad was born on August 8, 1964, the son of Ronald and Kay (Kissinger) McFanin. He began working with his father at the age of 16, doing construction and installing pools and went on to own and operate McFanin Builders. 

Brad loved tinkering in his garage and woodworking. He enjoyed chasing storms, camping and relaxing in the sun by the pool. He loved nothing more than spending time with his family and spoiling his grandchildren. Brad was a member of the First Baptist Church of Otsego. 

Surviving are his children, Heather (Kyle) Hatten of Alamo Township, Amber (Clay) Belka of Shelbyville, Ryan (Samantha) McFanin of Martin and Mark McFanin of Kalamazoo; fiancée, Kimm Ray and her children, Dallas (Jenna) Knoll, Ally Ray and Darron Ray; grandchildren, Bryer, Lincoln, Colter, Lauren, Landon, Leeson, Crew, Eloise, Tilly, Kairi, Addie, Alice and Alden; his mother, Kay; siblings, Ronda Penny, Kim Gillies, Colleen (Ward) Litchfield, Ron (Mary) McFanin, Brian (Kelly) McFanin, Christina (Todd) Back and Amanda (Allen) Millis; sister-in-law, Gail McFanin along with several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his father, brother, Michael and beloved dogs, Duece and Dixie. 

According to his wishes cremation has taken place. 

Friends and family may visit with Brad’s family from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM, Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego. 

A memorial service will take place at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at the First Baptist Church of Otsego, with Pastor Paul Laborde officiating.
