Betty L. Woodstock
Betty passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at the Wings Home in Allegan.
She was born April 2, 1932 in Otsego the daughter of Verle and Mildred (Forsyth) Sheldon. Betty had worked at several area businesses most recently at Parker Hannifin. She also volunteered at Christian Neighbors and many area nursing homes. Betty had a strong faith and was a member of Friendship Wesleyan Church in Plainwell. She loved taking care of her family, sewing and playing cards.
In 1950 she married Joseph Edwards who passed away in 1997. On July 2, 2004 she married Archie Woodstock who passed away in 2014.
Surviving are her children, Joseph (Becky) Edwards of Gobles, Clifford Edwards of Virginia and Sherri (Dennis) MacEachron of Portage, 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and her siblings, Barb and Richard.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; son, David and her 8 siblings.
According to her wishes cremation has taken place.
Burial of ashes will take place at Mountain Home Cemetery in Otsego at a later time.

floor staff at Borgess Medical Center for the wonderful care that Betty received.

Great Aunt Betty I knew her through the marriage of Archie he was my great uncle, when he was married to his first wife, I’ll never forget when her and Archie attended my baptism and she hugged me and said welcome to the Lord’s family. It was so sweet of her, we used to write one another but then I stopped receiving letters and knew she moved or wasn’t able too.

Andy and I are very sorry to hear about Betty passing. Although we were not in touch much over since our dad Arch passed away, she was still in our thoughts. She was such a sweet soul. We are confidant she is at peace with her Lord and rejoice that she is reunited with her dear loved ones in Heaven.

Joe and family I’am so sorry to hear of Betty passing we were friends for many years working at Parker Hannifin, she was always such a sweet lady. Unfortunately I lost track of her in late years. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
