I worked with Millie at Hardings back in the mid-1970s. She was the sweetest person ever, and I always enjoyed talking sports and politics with her husband Tom when he would come in to pick her up. Great memories.

Millie and I worked at Harding’s together in the produce dept. for a few years back in the 80’s. We quickly became best friends. Everyone should be so fortunate as to have a friend like Millie. Millie was wonderful person with a big heart. She will be missed.

Steve, Julie and family, Sorry to hear of Millie’s passing. I know she was still a vibrant part of your day to day by the way Julie spoke of her when we met a couple times this past year. I’m also glad she was around to usher in Millie 2.0 🙂

My favorite memory of your mom was always walking into Hardings and hearing her beautiful southern drawl. So exotic in Otsego in the 80’s.

Much love to your family as you say your earthly goodbyes.

Steve, Annie and Family: I am so sorry. My thoughts and heart are with you as I know the pain you are feeling. We loved Aunt Mildred and Mom loved her sister, “Millie”, so much. We love all of you and are just heartbroken.

Oh my where do I begin. Millie was a face I remember from my childhood. Always in the produce area at Hardings. My mom, Onalee Austin talked to Millie all the time. When I got older & shopped for my produce; I talked to Millie too. All the time Millie was talking her hands were moving doing her job. What a treasure she was and will always be. She was so cool. Always looked forward to seeing Millie. How could you not. She’s home, all good
