“There’s magic in a Mother’s touch, and sunshine in her smile. There’s love in everything she does to make our lives worthwhile. We can find both hope and courage just by looking in her eyes. Her laughter is a source of joy, her works are warm and wise. There is a kindness and compassion to be found in her embrace and we see the light of heaven shining from a Mother’s face” author unknown

  6. Mike Newkirk (son of Esther) says:

My dear sweet Aunt Mary. Like Grandma Shipley, she was a sweet gentle spirit. I will always remember her that way.

  7. Honey & Windle Knight says:

Dear Kelley, Lisa, Uncle Pat and family,
We have a lot of special memories of Aunt Mary when we would come for a visit at MI she would bring Kelley and Lisa over to Aunt Thelma’s so much laughter not sure who had more fun the “Shipley Gals” or us kids it was a very special time, (even though for us IN girls it wasn’t very often). Aunt Mary always looked so beautiful (just like her sisters what a great looking group of gals! I remember Uncle Cliff calling them gals! LOL) She had such a loving, kind heart and beautiful laugh. Aunt Mary always was a blessing to others and especially to those she loved and how much she loved her family!
Loretta said she has so many wonderful memories of Aunt Mary and remembers those younger years with her very special.
I know Aunt Mary will be dearly missed… she is and was deeply and truly loved by all who knew her and is at peace with no more suffering, no more pain and no more tears… The Lord has in store for her a mansion made in heaven and Jesus is the bridge that connects our hearts together and binds the Shipley Clan together in His love. We love you all! Honey & Windle, Bev & Russ, Helen & Ken, Loretta and Dronda, want to include those who have gone home with the Lord Debbie and Patti and our Mom Helen (Helen’s Daughters)

  8. Loretta Johnson says:

I will never forget all the times you would sit at the piano and play and we would sing together. That will always be a special memory for me. Much Love,
