Mary passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023 at the Wings Home in Allegan.
She was born March 20, 1933 in Trowbridge Township to Charles and Lillian (Pinney) Colder and was raised by her Aunt Laura. Mary was the first adult in Otsego to go back to high school and graduate with her diploma. She attending school in the same building with her two sons.
For 30 years Mary worked as a cashier at Harding’s Market until her retirement in 1990’s. She enjoyed volunteering at the Otsego Historical Museum and had written “Mary’s Corner” a column for the Otsego Union. Mary loved her family very much and when her sons were younger was a Cub Scout den mother. On July 22, 1950 in Plainwell she married Harold Kleinbrink who passed away in 1999.
Surviving are her children, Mark (Mary Ann) Kleinbrink of Otsego, Dave (Sandy) Kleinbrink of Alamo, Karen (Steve) Marks of Otsego and Janice (Tom) Martin of Otsego; grandchildren, Nicole (Doug), Stephanie (Mike), Laura (Tim), Erica, Garrett (Amber), Melanie, Matt (Shannon) Troy (Rhonda) Steve (Ashley) and Jessica (Brad); 27 great-grandchildren with one due soon and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and infant brother, George Leroy.
Friends may visit with Mary’s family from 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at the Winkel Funeral Home Otsego, where a funeral service will take place at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, June 8, 2023, with Pastor Greg Carlson officiating.
Burial will follow at Mountain Home Cemetery in Otsego.
Contributions in memory of Mary may be made to the Wings Home or Wings of Hope Hospice.

I’m thinking of you guys at this time, Thank you so much for allowing me to be your mom’s main stay for 4 1/2 years, I’ll miss her so but part of her will be with me everyday.
