Stoneburner family, I’m so sorry to hear of Harry passing. You all have my deepest sympathy. Every minute spent with Harry was enjoyable. He was one of the finest men it will ever be my privilege to know. Such a treasure of knowledge and he told the best stories about Alamo from way back. He will be greatly missed.

Uncle Harry was such a great guy. I so enjoyed his company as did many, many others. His sense of humor was just one of the things that made him so endearing. His kindness came from his beautiful heart. You will always be much loved Uncle Harry.

Harry was a man always ready to help in any way he could. One of my favorite memories was on a night our fine neighbor helped out at our Alamo restaurant. After a long day working the fields Harry was in dining. Still dressed in his farming cloths and boots Harry saw we needed help. He made his way into our kitchen and ran the dishwasher. My only regret is I never got a picture of it. One of many times Harry helped us solve a problem. Rest in peace friend.

This is a sad moment. My heart is broken and my condolences go to all that had the pleasure of knowing him. Growing up I spent many great times at the Stoneburner farm. Harry and Norma were GREAT people. I find solace in the fact that they are now reunited and having wild fun with all the greats that passed before them. I wouldn’t be surprised if Harry was roasting a pig and sweet corn for St. Peter at this very moment. May the precious memories bring comfort to you all.

I grew up on D Ave right down the road from Jack and Mary.

My house was surrounded by fields and I remember being a little kid. Harry and Jack would give me rides in the combined and tractors. I thought it was the coolest thing when I was little.

I will cherish those memories forever. I’m sorry for your loss.
