
Jerry passed away Friday, January 7, 2022 in Kalamazoo.
He was born March 24, 1940 in Chicago, the son of Albert and Aluria (Boris) Norkus. As a young man he worked as a mechanic and later as a long haul truck driver until his retirement in 1989. In his free time Jerry enjoyed fishing, Harley motorcycles, boating, playing cards, cutting wood, small engine repair and keeping busy. He was a long time member of the Otsego Elks and the Allegan Eagles. On June 7, 1958 in Chicago, he married Judy Loveless who survives.
Also surviving are his children, Tamy (Tim) Nogle of Plainwell, Bonnie (Jack) Howard of Plainwell, Barbara (Dave) Miller of PA and Jerry Jr. (Leanne) Hill of Martin; 5 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; sister, Bernadine of TX along with 2 nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
According to his wishes cremation has taken place.
A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
Burial of ashes will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Watson Township.
Contributions in memory of Jerry may be made to the Otsego Elks.

Judy and family we were just heart broken hearing about Jerry. Our love and prayer go out to each one of you. Jerry will forever hold a special place in our hearts and memories. He was such a fun loving guy and the most joyful billowing laugh that would make all join in with him in laughter.
