Elizabeth “Billie” Phillips passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Borgess Place in Kalamazoo. She was born June 30, 1927 in Massillon, Ohio, the daughter of Earl and Edith Bailey. Before retiring, she enjoyed a long career as a medical transcriptionist. In her free time, Billie enjoyed cooking, crocheting, reading, doing jigsaw puzzles, spending time with her family, and working her way through stack after stack of puzzle books. She was married to the love of her life, Hugh Phillips, for 34 years before he passed away in 1983.
Surviving are her grandchildren Cindy Shattuck, Dustin Phillips, and Timothy Phillips. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Lynn Phillips, and son, Michael Phillips.
She will be truly and greatly missed.
