Dr. Jeffrey S. Taylor passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo.
He was born August 27, 1944 in Grand Ledge, the son of Ralph and Margaret (Brown) Taylor. Dr. Taylor owned and operated Taylor Chiropractic Clinic in Otsego until his semi-retirement. He was always willing to assist his son Brett who took over the practice in 2018.
In his free time Jeff loved flying and held his pilot’s license since 1974. He enjoyed hunting deer, wild boar and other wild game in Michigan and Tennessee. Jeff was a devoted member of New Life Victory Church in Comstock where he served as an elder and loved worshipping with his church family.
Jeff’s passion in life was to help others. He was constantly researching new ways to help people improve their health and nutrition in a natural way. More than anything Jeff loved his family unconditionally and was happiest when surrounded by his children and grandchildren. On October 31, 1964 at the First Congregational Church in Otsego, he married Cheryl Scott who survives.
Also surviving are his children, D’Anna (Dan) Boot of Chicago and Brett (Candace) Taylor of Plainwell; grandchildren, Emily (Brandt) Miller, Christian Boot, Jalyn Taylor, Talia Taylor and Henna Taylor; his sister, Judy (Peter) Croden; niece, Kelley (Todd) Swanson and nephew, Chad (Jenna) Chambless.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
