Connor passed away, unexpectedly, Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at his home in Otsego.
He was born November 14, 2000 in Kalamazoo, the son of Thomas and Jessica (Dingman) Blanchard. Connor worked in construction doing drywall. He loved music especially the Red Hot Chili Peppers and enjoyed playing the bass.
Connor had a heart of gold and was a hopeless romantic. He loved animals and had rescued 3 cats, Stella, Jimmy and Cocoa. Connor liked playing video games with his brother and dad. He was a kind, considerate, loving soul with a great sense of humor and enjoyed making others laugh.
Surviving are his parents, Tom Blanchard and Jessica Blanchard; siblings, Emma (J.J.) Coak and Anthony Blanchard; grandparents, Terry and Terri Dingman of Vicksburg, David and Barb Blanchard of Martin and Greg and Susan Temple of Allegan along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Connor’s life will be held at a later time.
Contributions in memory of Connor may be made to 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
Messages of condolence may be posted at www.WinkelFuneralHome.com.

Our grandson was an old soul full of grace and mercy. Connor came into this world with some physical challenges. He had a strong character and learned to endure. He was loving, kind and giving. Connor would make donations to a charity on his birthday. One of Connor’s charities he truly believed in was 988 Suicide and Crisis Hotline.
There is a hurt in our hearts that is so big, there are no words to describe it. Learning to live with it is what we are all doing.
We are not promised tomorrow. Let go of the past. We can plan for the future; but know life is going to roll to places we never thought we would have to deal with. For now, live right where you are, the present. The most precious gifts we have are the abilities to love, forgive and the time spent in this world.
Grampa Dave and Gramma Barb will do our best in this world, we’re not done. We will see you again Connor Reilly Blanchard, in Heaven because of our Savior Jesus Christ. He loves us so very much.
