We met Carl through my aunt, whom we took to his shop weekly so she could get her hair done. As her health declined it became more and more difficult for her to make the trip, and I think a few times she went in her pajamas! But Carl was unceasingly patient and kind and she always left her hair appointment feeling encouraged and ready to face another week.
The world is a sorrier place for the loss of his compassion. May he rest in peace.
