I have had the pleasure of knowing Yvonne for 15 years, her daughter Ila and my daughter Bridget have been good friends since kindergarten. I know that life was a struggle for her being a single mom, but she always did the best she could. Ila has been a part of our family for many years and will always be welcome in our home. I promised her mom that we would watch over her; as long as there is breath in our lungs we will. I know that you are at rest now Yvonne, my the angels watch over your family until you are reunited again. Ila, we love you girl, and we are here whenever you need someone to talk to or just a shoulder to cry on, you will always be part of our family. RIP Yvonne.

Yvonne was a good person. She took care of herself and raised two children without help from anyone. I was very proud of this young woman. She overcame many obstacles in her life. May she rest in peace.
