Tim Wolthuis, beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend went to be with his Lord suddenly Saturday evening May 9, 2009. Tim was born April 22, 1943 in Kalamazoo, the son of Henry and Trena (Zomer) Wolthuis. Tim was a cement finisher. He enjoyed flea marketing, auctions, woodworking and working on lawn mowers. Tim was a member of Oak Grove Bible Church, Kalamazoo. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Marlo (Martha) Losey; and 6 brothers, John, Lawrence, Richard, Bill, David and Jim. Surviving are 3 sons, Joe of Martin, Chris and Ron, both of Kalamazoo; 6 grandchildren, Kendall, Kaylee, Jake, Nathan, Nicholas and Hope. Tim is also survived by his sisters, Elsie (Bill) Kollar of Hopkins, Donna (Dean) Chapman of Greenville; brothers, Albert (Jackie) Wolthuis of Mattawan, Paul (Barb) Wolthuis of Kalamazoo, Terry (Jean) Wolthuis of Otsego, Jerry (Doris) Wolthuis of Hickory Corners, Daniel (Libby) Wolthuis of Brooksville, FL; sisters-in-law, Pat Wolthuis of Wayland, Betty J. Wolthuis of Schoolcraft, Sally Wolthuis of Cooper and Betty Wolthuis of Kalamazoo; many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at Oak Grove Bible Church, 7655 Ravine Road, Kalamazoo, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, Pastor David Ives officiating. Burial will follow at Prairieville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Tim may be made to Oak Grove Bible Church.
