  7. Becky Smalley says:

Rita was my neighbor for the last 20 years and also a dear friend. She always kept an eye on us, and was disappointed in the spring when the leaves came on the trees and blocked her view. She always treated us like family and treated my son like one of her grandchildren. She was definitely a woman who loved her cats and her birds. I can see her now sitting peacefully in heaven with Kit Kat cuddled up on her lap and her “Baby” and “Buddy” close by. She will be dearly missed and I looked forward to sharing a porch step in heaven with her one day discussing cats and birds and deer and the weather. We will be praying for all of her family whom she loved dearly.
